Unto us a Child is born

I know it is a little early for Christmas, but it sort of sneaks up on us, doesn't it! I have made another more clean and simple card using Diane's Daydream Designs images. These images are from the sets Little Bits of Christmas and Christmas Blessings sentiment set. If you haven't checked out Daydream Designs yet, hop over and take a look! These pages are full of wonderful images and sentiments!
I would love to play around with this set some more. I am hoping to do something with a canvas. :) I have an idea in mind; let's hope it comes out right onto canvas! lol
I've colored them with copics. I made the little baby Jesus have a glow coming from Him; it is supposed to be shining onto my images. I used some glitter glue on the angel's wings and a gel pen for the hay. Have a blessed day!

Copics used:
Baby: E000, E00, B24, B21,
Robe: Y00, Y02, Y11, C3, C1, 0,
Hair: E18, E17, E15, E11

Wrapped in Cheer

Good morning all! I have a card to show you using Diane's Daydream Designs cute images! This adorable snowman is from the Wrapped in Cheer set and the sentiment is from the Christmas Blessings Sentiment set! I colored the snowman with copics and added some glitter glue under him. His earmuffs are soft and fluffy with white flocking. The papers are Recollections Botanical Noel and the die cut is QuicKutz Antique Doily. The flowers are from Michaels and the buttons and ribbon are from my stash. :) The edges of the card are all distressed using Brown ink. I hope you enjoyed this precious little snowman and will stop by Daydream Designs and check out all Diane's wonderful images!
Be Blessed!

Snowballs

Good morning crafty friends! Today I have a new image from Crafty Sentiments Designs to show you! This image is one of the October New Release images. We are playing a little game today! My friend, Celine and I, chose two elements to use on our projects and we want you to guess what they are! You can check out both of our projects over at Crafty Sentiments Inspirations! Take a guess and see if you can get our 2 secret elements correct! :)

I found this cute bucket from Hobby Lobby and knew it would make a perfect snowball holder for my new little image! :) Here it is finished and below is a short tutorial!

I first painted on some gesso.

Then I painted it with True Blue acrylic paint and spritzed with Dylusions White Linen.

Next I cut out some fun snowy hills and added glitter glue to the edges.
And here is a close up of the image that I colored with copics. I used glitter glue on the snowballs and white flocking on his stocking hat. :)

And finished by adding Snowmarker to the gorgeous snowflake from Gina's Designs, some styrofoam "snow"balls, and some embellishments! Now my friend is all ready for some fun!

I got the sticks outside during my Friday Mixed Media class at co-op! I brought them home and wanted to use them on a project. :) I tied them with some ribbon from 3GirlJam. Hi all! This morning I have a new image to show you from the awesome New Release at Crafty Sentiments Designs! We are showing you all some sneaky peaky's for 3 days at Crafty Sentiments Inspirations! Today is day 2 and the new image is Bell and Present! Isn't she gorgeous?! These new stamps will be available on Oct. 22nd at Crafty Sentiments Designs!
I colored this sweetie using copics. I cut her out using my cricut and used the die cut Floral Ovals. I put some ultra fine glitter on the present's ribbon (close-up below) and some frantage here and there. The tree was a Sizzix Christmas tree die cut. I used some Recollections tags bought from Hobby Lobby and covered them with Pion Designs Silent Night papers and stamped with a post card stamp from TPC Studio. The ribbons are from 3GirlJam and Recollections twine and sheer collections. The edge of the card was punched with Martha Stewart punches and the side tag was cut using the Elegant Edges cricut cartridge. I hope you enjoyed my card today and will check out the rest of the DT's fabulous cards at Crafty Sentiments Crafty Inspirations! :)

Fall Bingo

Hi all! I have a fun craft to show you today! My children love to play games, so when I saw the cute Bingo cards from Daydream Designs I knew I had to use them! I decided to make a fun altered matchbox to keep my Bingo cards in. They are pre-colored, so all I had to do was print them off! I printed them the size of an ATC and am using buttons as our game pieces. First, I started with a plain matchbox and covered it with design paper from the paper stack Kellerkurtz & Company (which you will be seeing me use a ton!! Love it) I used Gel Medium over my brick stencil and then touched the edges with black gesso. Then for fun I dabbed bubble wrap into gesso and placed it on! I then sprayed it with Dylusions cut grass, melted chocolate, squeezed orange, and Perfect Pearls heirloom gold. The images on front are also from Daydream Designs Fall digital sets called Pumpkin Patch colored set and Falling for you Owls. I distressed the edges with Tim Holtz vintage photo ink and black gesso. Then added some aged gold embossing enamel to the corner of the image. The little black bird is from Hobbycutz which I painted with black gesso and added some aged gold embossing enamel to it also. The flowers are from JoAnn's. I added bits of black and white gesso and some orange glitter glue to make it sparkle. The swirls are new from Say it in Crystals that I snatched up at JoAnn's on my last trip! :) I added two pieces of burlap ribbon that I recycled from a wedding invitation and finished off with two green brads covered in orange glitter glue. I am so glad you stopped in today and I can't wait to play this game with my children!! Be Blessed!
