Hippity Hoppity Chompers

Wow! I can't believe it's Thursday already! The weekend is almost here! It's time for another great challenge at Delightful Challenges. This weeks challenge is Hippity Hoppity. We would like you to create a project with a bunny or rabbit or create something for spring. I used Digital Delights image Chompers. The more I see him, the more I love him. He just gets cuter and cuter to me! I added the sentiment from the Easter Sentiment set. I used papers from the Girlhood stack from DCWV. The yellow flower is from I Am Roses and the other flowers are WOC. I used my copics to color Chompers and added some grass under him and a glow of yellow behind using some chalk. I stitched around him using We R Memory Keepers So Easy, cut out the shapes with my cricut, and fussy cut out the butterfly. I can't wait to see all your wonderful creations! Have a Blessed day!

Altered Picture Frame

Good morning! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! It's time for a new challenge at Incy Wincy Designs! It's Pastels. I picked up this picture frame at Michaels and couldn't wait to alter it! I used the image Country Mama from Saturated Canary. This is one of my favorite images! I love the sweetness of the image. It reminds me of pulling my children around in the little red wagon, picking flowers, growing a garden (well, in my case, trying to grow a garden) and just enjoying the summer weather! I used the Girlhood stack by DCWV. The colors looked more pastel at home, but the picture doesn't really look like it. I cut the large flowers out of the paper stack and backed it with chipboard to make it strong. I added flowers from Michaels and I Am Roses. I hope you will join us in this weeks challenge! Be Blessed!

Rainy Days

I made a quick trip to the "city" as we rural folks call it. I didn't realize how much snow was going to fall on us while we were out. We headed home pretty quick when I almost slid into another vehicle. Whew! That is scary! On a positive note, the Lord kept us safe and I had more time to finish this card!! :) It is Umbrella Lula from All That Scraps. I love the rain, in fact, I named my oldest daughter after it! Her middle name is Rayne, which rhymes with my middle name. I love the smell of rain, the sound of rain, well, you get the point! :) I used my copics to color this adorable image. I added some pearls, doilies, cheese cloth, I Am Roses and WOC flowers. Hope you enjoy!

Get Well Boo Boo Bear

Good morning! I'm so ready for spring weather! It's another chilly Thursday where I live. Fortunately, I get to stay inside and talk to you all! :) I'm totally excited to talk about the new challenge this week over at Delightful Challenges. It's Get Well cards! I chose Boo Boo Bear with the sentiment Get Well Soon. I had Boo Boo already colored but the card wasn't quite finished. Then my husband got me a few birthday gifts and one of them was 6 bags of buttons. One bag of flower buttons went perfectly with the flowers Boo Boo was holding so I had to use them! I thought it finished off the card nicely and was special because my husband had contributed to it! :) I used papers from the Girlhood stack from DCWV. I embossed the purple paper with my embossing tool. Then added glossy accents and stickles to the flowers and distressed the sentiment. Check out the rest of the DT's amazing cards! Two of them are using dew drops from our sponsor this week, The Robin's Nest. I must be living in a hole somewhere because I haven't seen them before and now I have to get my hands on them! I hope you will come join us in this fun new challenge!

Spring Altoid

When I saw altered altoid cans and glass bead magnets, I just had to try them! I'm going to teach the co-op students how to make them this Friday. It was so fun and easy! I used the Butterfly Garden stack by DCWV. I cut butterflies out of the paper and mod podged them so they would be stiff. Flowers are from I Am Roses and Wild Orchid Crafts. I added brown washi tape around the edge and then wrapped twine over it. I used pictures from the stack to use under the glass beads. I mod podged the top of the picture and stuck it to the bead and mod podged the bottom to seal it. Then added E6000 and the magnet to the bottom after the mod podge dried.

Stella Birthday

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! My awesome hubby took the little ones with him yesterday afternoon so I could play! I was able to have a nice and peaceful time. I can't wait to show you the new challenge at Incy Wincy Designs! It is Create a Shaped Card. How fun! I love shaped cards! I used Bugaboo's image Stella Birthday - life of the party. The bunting set by Digital Delights. The papers are Paper Studio Celebrations. I used glossy accents on her glasses and the glare on the balloon, pink jute string for the bows on the bunting, and copics to color her. I cut the shapes with cricut's basic shapes cartridge. Thanks for stopping by! I hope you will join us!

For My Little Man

It's a beautiful Thursday, and another awesome challenge over at Delightful Challenges! This weeks challenge is For the Boys! I have to admit that I worked on this card longer than any other. At first, I had a rectangular card and then ripped up all the layers and started over. I came across this design and had to try it. I don't have the die to cut it, so I cut it by hand. I made this card for my son. He will be starting baseball soon and my husband and I are pretty excited. Baseball/Softball was our favorite sport in school. It is so special to see your children try out new things and see if they enjoy them as much as you. I chose the cute image Casey the Baseball Pitcher and used the sentiment from the Grillin and Chillin Sentiments set. Thanks for stopping by and can't wait to see what you create!

For My Friend

Hi all! I'm super excited to show you this weeks new challenge at Incy Wincy Designs! It is Things that begin with F. That could be Friends, Fairies, Frogs......well, you get the point! LOL! For this card I colored with copics the sweet image For My Friend Framed from our wonderful sponsor this week Dilly Beans.  I used We R Memory Keepers Sew Easy stitch piercer, then stitched with dark brown fiber. The gears and letters I inked with caramel and gold alcohol inks. I dripped a drop of each color on each item and then blow dried it. It was hard to read the letters when I was done, so I sanded the top of them so they would pop out a bit! I used I Am Roses little orange flowers at the top peeking over. :)  Be sure to stop by and join in! Have a Blessed day!

Relax Barnaby

Hello everyone! It's Thursday, and time for another awesome challenge at Delightful Challenges! This week the challenge is Buttons, Bling, and Embellishment things! It's also Digital Delights New Release! I am using the super cute image Relax Barnaby along with the Relax sentiment from the Feel Better Sentiment set.  I cut the honeycomb, swirls, and flowers with my cricut and got the honeycomb button from JoAnn's. I shaped the flowers with my embossing tool, so they would curl up. I added stickles and glitter glue to all the flowers and put a little bling inside a couple of Barnaby's flowers! :) I hope you all have an amazing week! Be Blessed!

Owl Always Love You

I totally had to color this image when I saw it! She is Owlette from Tiddly Inks. I love, love, love this era! So, there was only one thing I could do......buy it! :) Ha Ha!

Here's the inside:

Great News!

I have been asked to Guest Design at Incy Wincy Designs for the month of March! I'm so excited to be a part of their team for a month! This weeks challenge is a Sketch:

As always, please feel free to flip it or rotate it - as long as we can still see that it's our sketch, we'll be happy! Our fabby sponsor this week is Kim from Care2Stamp who is giving this week's lucky winner a $15 Gift Certificate to her store! Kim has also kindly provided the DT with some images to showcase. This image is a Whoopsi Daisy image.

And this is my take on the sketch:

I used my copics to color this super cute image. The flowers are I Am Roses and Recollections. I used vellum for the sentiment which I typed up in Word. The butterfly charm is from Michaels and I added some rhinestones down it to make it stand out a little more! Hope you enjoy the card and stop by Incy Wincy Designs to join in on the fun! Be Blessed!

We'll Miss You

Yesterday I made this for a special lady who works with my husband. She is moving closer to family, so today is her last day. I thought this little baker girl was perfect for her! I forgot to take a pic of the inside, but it said We'll Miss You Cindy Lou! I got this image from Etsy shop Stephaniecorfee called Bakery Girl. I colored her with copics and inked Spun Sugar around the edges. The flowers are Prima and the rest is from my stash. Oh, how I love stashes! :) Today I have to share my stash with the co-op kids. I hope I play nice. Hee Hee! Have a Blessed day!
