Christmas Canvas

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! I was hoping to get this posted yesterday, but with traveling and my computer battery deciding to die it just didn't happen. :)
I made another canvas for my husband. I used the stamp from Wild Rose Studio called Baby Jesus. So again, I had an idea in my head for this canvas and 21 retries and re-do's later, this is how it turned out! I just got some pan pastels in a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed playing around with them on this canvas.
I hope you enjoy my project! And I will hope that I get a new camera soon. The pictures just don't do the metallic pan pastels justice. They are so gorgeous!

Some close up pics!

Used the following:
Gesso, Modeling paste, Perfect Pearl mists, Pan Pastels, Copics, Chalk

Have a Blessed day!

Building A Snowman

Hello all! Merry Christmas! I hope you are able to enjoy a lovely peaceful day surrounded by loved ones!
I have a card to share with you for the new challenge up at the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog! It's always Anything Goes so I hope you will join us!

Sadly, this will be my last card with this amazing team! I have decided to take a break from card making and crafting to concentrate more on family. Thank you Tabitha, Karen, Kelly, Rhea, Colleen and all the fabby DT teamies for letting me be a part of your team! :)

I have used the beautiful stamp Building a Snowman from Wild Rose Studio. I colored these cuties with copics and added some fluff mixed with microfine glitter.  I spritzed the small doily with perfect pearl mist and added some snow to the farm fence die cut using a snowpen. The flowers are from I Am Roses and the lace and ribbon are from my stash. The frame was cut using the elegant edges cartridge by Cricut.

A Christmas Carol

Hi all! It's getting really close to Christmas now! I made this Christmas card for Crafty Ribbons Advent Inspirations! I hope you will have a chance to check it out and join in!

For today's card, I've used A Christmas Song by Crafty Sentiments! I cut out a mat for my image with my cricut cartridge Elegant Edges. The paper is from The First Noel DCWV stack. The stamen are from WOC and the charm and lace are from Hobby Lobby.

Skin: E000, E00, E11, R20
Blue: B28, B24, B21
Brown: E18, E15, E13, E11, E29, E39, E35
Black/Gray: 100, C9, C7, C5, C3, C1
Red: R29, R27, R24
Green: G46, G43, G40
Yellow: Y11, Y00, E50, E53

I made a small tutorial for the tree die cut. I first cut them out and stamped music notes on them. Then rubbed vintage photo and peeled paint on my mat. I spritzed with water and ran the trees through. I did it again to make my colors darker. The last pic is of the tattered florals die cut. I did the same process to make the flower except I used a script stamp and barn door distress ink.

Snow Angel

Hi everyone! I hope you're staying warm!! Another new challenge is up at Crafty Sentiments! We would love to see your projects with the theme

Birthdays

Sadly, this is my last card as DT for Crafty Sentiments. Thank you, Suzette, Jan, and all of the amazing DT's for letting me be a part of such an incredible team! I will miss you all so much!

For my card I used the image Snow Angel. This is such a cute image and I loved coloring her! She was colored with copics and distressed with vintage photo distress ink. I used a little shabby white embossing enamel around for snow. The papers were cut with my cricut using the Elegant Edges cartridge. I added some cheesecloth and snowflake ribbon to finish it off! :)

Please come by and join our challenge at Crafty Sentiments! And please leave those wonderful DT ladies lots and lots of love! :)

Holiday Blessings

Hi everyone! I hope your day is going well. I wanted to share my card with you today using the stamp On Top of the World that I purchased at 7 Kids College Fund. Look below for a complete list of products I used from 7 Kids to make this card.

Here is the step card that I made with the help of Martha Stewart's score board. I put the image out on the step, because I wanted this little girl to be the center of attention! :) These stamps are so cute!
I added some die cuts that I cut from sparkly Christmas paper and made some silvery hills. I used Precious Ornaments from Memory Box and Marianne Designs Collectables.

Products used from 7 Kids:
On Top of the World Gorjuss stamp
Faded Jeans distress ink

The Season of Giving

Hello friends! Today is a new challenge over at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog! My card today has the gorgeous stamp Dawn Giving Away by Nellie Snellen. I've colored her with my copics on cryogen white paper. I cut the shapes out with my cricut using the Elegant Edges cartridge. I distressed the edges using vintage photo distress ink and Tim Holtz paper distresser. On the hoods and fluffy balls are white fluff and microfine glitter. To finish it off, I added some shabby white frantage.

Warm Winter Wishes

Happy Tuesday! We have another fabulous challenge for you today over at Crafty Sentiments!
Our theme this week is

Tag Along

So show us your tags or projects with a tag on them!

Here is my card using the cute image Winter Wishes. I colored her with copics on cryogen white paper. The Spellbinders floral ovals die cut was used the mat the image. I distressed the edges using vintage photo distress ink and TH paper distresser. I stamped on a piece of paper using a script stamp, then distressed it and then rolled the top a bit. The post card is from Daydream Designs Sentimental Journal set. I cut the tags using Avery Elle tag die cut. The poinsettia was made using Crinoline material and the Sizzix poinsettia die called Susan's Garden. I colored them using peeled paint, barn door, and vintage photo distress inks. I stitched the flower together by hand. It was not as easy as I had hoped. I think next time I'll buy the poinsettia die cut with the 3 layers of flowers, not the 7 individual leaves and petals!! Aaaahhhhh! The ribbon is from Ladybug Creations and is called Christmas Grunge.
And, of course, I added frantage on everything!!!! Ahahahahahaha!!!

Have a wonderful day!
